The Magnetic Thickness Detector is a 1-11/16 inch O.D. electromagnetic device designed for measuring corrosion, primarily deployed through tubing. One of its key features is the ability to simultaneously inspect both the tubing and the surrounding casings. This allows for the assessment of the casing string’s integrity without the need for expensive workover rigs or the labor-intensive removal of tubing completions.
Capable of measuring the thickness of up to three concentric pipes
The device incorporates a powerful transmitter, advanced signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) electronics, and fully customizable data acquisition
Its versatile design supports a wide range of evaluations across various conditions and conveyance systems
